I received these glasses 7 years ago when I got married. I love them. For the first 4 years, I used these glasses weekly (that was before kids). Even with constant use, they have never chipped or cracked. (two have broken but that was do to being clumsy while washing them). The colors are blown glass...not cheap add-ons - so they won't chip off or fall out of the swirl pattern. The colors that are swirled are gold, rose and blue. It allows them to match many dish/tablecloth colors. I think they look great with solid color dishes - because the glasses add enough pazzaz.
